( The story )
Ninety Fridays
( Chapter one )
The match expired.
Two friends (you know who you are!) each convinced Phil and Sarah to give a dating app a try. Sarah opened the app at the exact time Phil landed in Raleigh, on a flight he almost never takes. They matched. Sarah never opened the app again.
Phil, going off just a first name and her dog Mister, went and found her anyway. He sent her a message on Instagram. Eventually, she replied: “Is this the real Phil or are you AI??”

Friday No. 1
He was on a 12 day travel stretch, speaking on stages across three continents. Between time changes and her morning news schedule, they still talked every day for two weeks and still had not met.
Somewhere in there, she told him something that stuck: her dad would bring her flowers ever since she was little. It was one of the ways she felt loved.
So from the other side of the world, Phil sent flowers to an address he hoped was right. They landed on Sarah’s doorstep on Valentine’s Day. A Friday.
Before I ever met you, I sent you flowers.
It was the right address. And it’s been flowers every Friday since.
( Chapter three )
First date: Cava.
Sarah came off a 2 AM news shift to pick Phil up at the airport for their first date. His flight ran two hours late, effectively killing their dinner reservation. The first open door off the highway was a Cava, so that was their first date.
He ordered for her in line as if they had done it a hundred times. Next, they did a Target run with twenty bucks and a twenty minute timer to get each other gifts. That’s where he bought her Band-Aids. For when she fell for him.
They talked until 5 in the morning. They knew.
( Chapter three and a half )
The best part came built in.
Phil didn’t come to this story alone. He came with kids: the best parts of him in smaller sizes, with bigger opinions.
They tested Sarah the way only kids can, with everything they had. She passed, and then some. Now she’s the one they save seats for, put on shows for, and run to first with every scraped knee and every piece of big news.
Watching them love her might be Phil’s favorite thing on earth.
On Halloween, they’re not guests. They’ll be standing up front, right where they belong.

The Friday Wall
Sarah photographs the bouquets each week. They call it “Flower Friday.” And every single one arrives with a handwritten note: one thing Phil loves about her, that week, in writing. Ninety Fridays, ninety reasons. The whole record is below, from the first bouquet to the latest Friday, still growing. Tap any of them.
One Friday was extra special. Tap the gold frame below!

Fifty nine bouquets. One path to a question. All becoming one. Just like us.

Friday No. 60
Good Friday, April 3, 2026. Sarah walked into what she thought was a photo shoot for a friend. Instead: 59 little bouquets made a path, each with a photo from all the Flower Fridays before, each with a handwritten note.
She carried a vase and gathered them as they walked together. At the end of the path was a bouquet of 60 white roses and an arch wrapped in roses and lilacs. Her favorite flower, the one that only blooms in April.

Every Friday. Every flower. Every note. All of it was leading to this moment.
Sarah said yes! There was a private chef. They FaceTimed the kids. It was, by every account, a very Good Friday.
The day before the wedding marks another Flower Friday. The next day, Sarah will walk with the 90th bouquet down the aisle.
